We will take care of just about anything as long as we have instructions. We've done drop ins for a ranch that had chickens, goats, a pig, sheep and a horse, so live stock doesn't scare us.
When we sit for you, we will stay at your house overnight. Depending on our schedule during our stay, we may either hang out all day at your place or be in and out during the day, but will always be home at night. We follow your required routine regardless. We expect to arrive to your place with clean linens on the bed we will stay in and upon our exit, we will make sure to leave clean linens as well.
Once you get in touch with us, whether it's by phone, text or under "contact us" on our web page, we will set up an appointment to do a meet and greet. This is so you and your pet(s) get to know us and we get a feel for your pets needs. If we all agree we're a good fit, you just let us know when you need us and as long as we're free during that time period, we'll be there to take care of your furry family.
Generally we do 30 minute walks. Unless your dog needs a shorter or longer walk, we're happy to work with you. Walk time will start after we leash up and walk out the door. Once the time has been completed, your dog will be unleashed and left with a fresh bowl of water. We generally like to text pictures during the walks.
For scheduled walks, every effort will be made to carry on as planned. On days with extreme weather, walk duration and or time of walk may be altered. I won't walk a dog if the ground is too hot for their pads. I'm happy to walk in the rain if it's not gusting. If you'd rather keep them inside, I'm happy to drop in and play with them instead.
Our drop ins vary according to your needs. If you have cats who need to be tended to, we will make sure they are fed, have clean water and clean litter boxes. If they are social, we will attempt to play with or love them. Dog drop ins can be as simple and just going in and hanging out with them for a while. We can also let them out for potty breaks, feed them, play with them or administer medication. It's all up to what you and your pets need.
Dog walking and drop in services must be cancelled 24 hours before the scheduled service. Otherwise, 50% of the rate for the scheduled service will be charged.
Pet sitting services scheduled a week or more prior to the start date must be cancelled by 5 PM two days before the scheduled stay. If cancelled before that, you will be charged a 50% cancellation fee. If after that cutoff, you will be charged the full amount.
